Nathan C. Funk is Visiting Assistant Professor of Political Science and International Affairs at George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs. His areas of specialization include peace and conflict resolution, Islam, and Middle Eastern politics and culture. With Abdul Aziz Said and Ayse S. Kadayifci, he co-edited Peace and Conflict Resolution in Islam: Precept and Practice.
Abdul Aziz Said is Mohammed Said Farsi Professor of Islamic Peace and Director of the Center for Global Peace at the School of International Service, American University. He was a member of the White House Commission on the Islamic World during the Carter Administration, has served as a consultant to the U.S. Information Agency and Department of State, and has played an active role in Arab-Israeli dialogues. His work Concepts of International Politics in Global Perspective is now in its fourth edition.
Gabriela Kütting is Lecturer in the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Aberdeen. Her areas of special interest are global environmental politics, development issues and global political economy/globalization.
Alan Tidwell is a program officer at the United States Institute of Peace. Prior to joining USIP he taught conflict resolution in Australia for some ten years. He has published several books and articles on conflict resolution.
Charles Lerche teaches in two graduate programmes in International Relations in the United States (Norwich University and Troy State University). His research interests include international relations, the politics of the Global South, world order, and peace and conflict studies. He has co-authored Concepts of International Politics in Global Perspective, edited two volumes of essays on world order studies, and published articles in several academic journals, including The Journal of African Studies, The Journal of Asian and African Studies, Peace and Conflict Studies, The International Journal of Peace Studies, and International Politics.
Catherine Eschle is Lecturer in the Department of Government, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, where she teaches international relations and feminist theory. Her recent and forthcoming books include Critical Theories, World Politics and the Anti-Globalisation Movement (edited with Bice Maiguashca) and Global Democracy, Social Movements and Feminism.
Helena Lindholm Schulz is Associate Professor in Peace and Development Research at Göteborg University. She is the author of The Reconstruction of Palestinian Nationalism and The Palestinian Diaspora: Formation of Identity and Politics of Homeland.
