Novel Speakers

Our

Speaking is

The way we know who

We are and how we know what God expects Of us. A word is but a thought until it is spoken, and once spoken it becomes a free radical agent that cannot be put back into the dark consciousness of our mind. In the beginning was The Word and God spoke and everything was. Christ was The Word, and proclaimed that, by hearing, man is convicted unto salvation. But speak the word, and it shall be. Where two or more are gathered together in My name, there am I, and if any two are in agreement they can move mountains. These are just some of the promises that speaking, hearing and agreeing fulfill.

And so it came to pass that the people were perishing for want of a vision, and that is when the Speakers began to address the people. At first it was only one alone, like a voice crying in the wilderness. But his strength was as many men, and he spoke and spoke, and everywhere he spoke men, women and children heard him, but were very afraid, because they knew it was a different voice than they had been hearing all around them. It was strident, yet tender, tough, even harsh, yet gentle. But the people were afraid of the voice and the Speaker and he led a lonely life.

It didn’t matter though because the words were spoken, and nothing was ever the same again. Not that it mattered much because things could hardly have been worse. It was, as is said, the best of times and the worst of times. There was luxury beyond compare, and all the loser nations looked in the window, and what they saw made them ravenously hungry for those things the Americans had.

They were those who hath not. They had never known the freedom of living under the wing of the dove, like a chick protected by a loving parent. These were nations of people who had never had a free election in 5000 years, who had never been trusted or allowed to own any weapon of self-defense, who had lived like slaves live, at the bare sufferance of their capricious masters who hardly knew them. These were those who did not have The Book, who had no Covenant, nor any Testament, Old or New.

They didn’t matter in some sense, but the Americans did. It’s like a bunch of kids that are all dirty but one of them gets himself cleaned up, and then suddenly it matters if he gets dirty, but it doesn’t matter much if the others get another coat of dirt on them. So when these tell tale signs of the end times started appearing it mattered to some of the watchers who paid attention to these things. They watched for a while and then they began to speak and that is how the Speakers came to be.

When was it that cartoons started becoming more real than reality? When was it that cartoon children were cuter than the real thing? Barbie and My Little Pony and Snoopy slowly became substitutes for real children, and even real animals. Computer technology only intensified the trend.
