MSA Script Contest
Do you have a video idea but don't have the means to shoot and edit it?
Enter the MSA Script contest! Winning script
author will get
$100 cash and the chance to produce their story into a short film (a video crew will be
provided) and have it played at the MSA Open Mic Night on April 30th.
Contest:
Write a script for a short film that is no longer than 5 minutes. The genre
is open to whatever you'd like: comedy, drama, thriller, documentary, sorry
no chick flicks. Submit your script to
msascript@gmail.com by
Monday, March 31, 2008. Winning script will be announced on
Wednesday, April 2, and
production will start ASAP!
- Submission does not have to be in script format, it can be in bullet
or in paragraphs
Must keep to Islamic guidelines:
No mocking of other religions
No
foul language or violent or explicit acts
Islamic attire must be
adhered
Try not to include too many characters in the script
Try to keep settings in the VA/MD/DC area, preferably on Mason Campus
Sorry, no special effects
unless you know how to do them in post production
